Resident of the Month

Pam Anderson

Pam was born on June 25th, 1959 to Rodney and Delores Anderson. She was born with cerebral palsy and has had many challenges as she grew up. She lost her Mom at the very young age of 11. She lived and went to school in Moorhead. Pam graduated from Moorhead High School in 1978. She went on for further education at Moorhead Tech.

After school, Pam moved to Minneapolis and lived there in her own apartment for several years. Pam made the decision to move back to Moorhead to be closer to her Dad and other family. She lived in the Riverview Apartments for many years. She also did volunteer work at St. Ansgar hospital.

Due to Pam's declining physical health, she could no longer live alone, and moved into a nursing home. She lived at the Villa Maria in Fargo for several years.

Pam lost her Dad in 2003, which was very difficult on her. Her family in Fertile invited her to come to live at Fair Meadow in 2010.

Pam enjoys reading, doing crafts, and word search. Her favorite color is purple. She loves participating in all activities at Fair Meadow and visiting with the staff and other residents. Like all of us, Pam can't wait for COVID to be done so she can get out and go shopping again, and life can get back to normal.
